G. Edward Alexander
President and

Prior to Founding HCFP, Mr. Alexander served as Chief Executive Officer of Surgical Alliance Corporation, a company focused on musculoskeletal hospital development and management.
From July 1996 to December 2000 Mr. Alexander served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for OrthoLink Physicians Corporation. Prior to helping found OrthoLink, from 1994 to 1996, Mr. Alexander served as CFO for Team Health, Inc., the hospital-based physician-contracting subsidiary of MedPartners, Inc.
From 1988 through 1994, Mr. Alexander served as Vice President, Finance and Treasurer of Medaphis Corporation, one of the largest providers of business management service to hospitals and physicians.
From 1984 through 1988, he served as Vice President, Finance and Controller of Realty Development Corporation, a real estate management and development company.
From 1980 through 1984, Mr.Alexander, a C.P.A., was employed with Deloitte and Touche.
Mr. Alexander received a B.B.A. from Emory University in 1980.
John T. Prater

Prior to Founding HCFP, Mr. Prater served as Chief Financial Officer, Physician Services Division of USPI, a publicly traded ambulatory surgery center and specialty hospital company. Mr. Prater served as CFO for OrthoLink Physicians Corporation, an orthopaedic ambulatory surgery center and physician services company. Prior to helping found OrthoLink, Mr. Prater served as Senior Financial Analyst for Team Health, Inc., the hospital-based physician-contracting subsidiary of MedPartners, Inc. Prior to joining Team Health, Inc., Mr. Prater served as Senior Financial Analyst for Whittle Communications.
Mr. Prater has a B.S. in Finance from the University of Tennessee.
William M. Gavigan IV, MHA
President of Outpatient Services

Mr. Gavigan has more than 25 years of direct operations and development experience with multi state, multi facility management with several nationally recognized industry leaders. Before joining HCFP, Mr. Gavigan served as SVP of Operations at Meridian Surgical Partners, where he developed and implemented the models for ASC operations, strategic planning, and partnership growth and development.
Mr. Gavigan had previously served as the RVP of Operations at Symbion Healthcare, a publicly traded ambulatory surgery center and specialty hospital company. At Symbion, Mr. Gavigan was responsible for the overall operational and financial success of specific physician-centered surgical facilities, where he implemented focused strategic planning initiatives of revenue growth, physician recruitment, partnership relations, managed care contracting, expense management, and accounts receivable management. Mr. Gavigan also served as both a Regional Director of Operations and a Director of Business Development for various surgical facility partnerships nationwide.
Mr. Gavigan completed both his undergraduate and MHA degrees at St. Louis University.
Carla Evans, RN, BSN
Regional Vice President of Operations
Carla Evans joined HCFP in 2021 as the Regional Vice President of Operations and New Center Development. Carla has over 30 years of nursing experience, she brings a deep well of clinical expertise, leadership, and innovation to the surgical care field. Her career has spanned every area of the surgery center environment, giving her a comprehensive understanding of perioperative care and operational excellence.
She was instrumental in launching one of Ohio’s top total joint orthopedic centers, where she led the development of a groundbreaking outpatient joint and spine program. This initiative became a model of excellence, attracting vendors and healthcare professionals nationwide who came to observe and learn from our approach.
Carla's passion for quality and performance improvement has driven measurable outcomes in patient care and operational efficiency. She has extensive experience in regulatory compliance, ensuring that surgery centers not only meet but exceed industry standards.
Whether mentoring clinical teams, optimizing workflows, or pioneering new care models, Carla is committed to advancing surgical care through innovation, collaboration, and a relentless focus on patient outcomes.
Linda White, RN
Regional Vice President of Operations
Linda White joined HCFP in January 2025. She has more than 24 years of ambulatory surgery center leadership experience, working with single and multi-specialty centers across the US.
Prior to joining HCFP, Linda served as a VP of Ambulatory Services for Nvision Eye Centers. Her responsibility was to direct the operational strategy for 9 ophthalmology ambulatory surgery centers in the western US. She provided the center physicians and staff with the resources and services necessary to meet the needs of patients and meet the financial objectives of her assigned surgery centers.
Prior to Nvision, Linda served first as a Senior Clinical Director and then Regional VP of Operations for AMSURG. In her clinical role, she was responsible for ensuring the clinical quality and regulatory compliance for up to 22 surgery centers. In her Regional VP role, she was responsible for the overall operational and financial success of her assigned multi-specialty centers.
Linda earned her nursing degree from Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN. She started her career in the main operating room as a circulating and scrub nurse. She eventually moved to a freestanding ambulatory surgery center.
Sharon Stouder, CPC, CPMA, CEMC, CPC-1
Vice President, Business Operations & Revenue Cycle Management
Sharon Stouder brings over 20 years of leadership in ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), specializing in business operations, revenue cycle management, and compliance. At HCFP, Sharon drives operational performance and revenue integrity across the organization.
Previously, Sharon led compliance initiatives at Envision Healthcare, improving regulatory adherence and efficiency across a national ASC portfolio. At AmSurg Corporation, she directed internal audit and business operations, implementing chart audit programs that enhanced documentation, coding, and revenue capture. She began her career as a Senior Auditor at Ellis Medical Consulting.
Sharon holds multiple AAPC certifications and is a CPC-Approved Instructor. Her strategic leadership and commitment to excellence make her a key contributor to HCFP’s success.
Terri Ott, CPA
Controller
Terri Ott brings over 30 years of experience in the accounting profession, with deep expertise in both public and healthcare accounting. She has 14 years in healthcare finance as assistant controller and central office billing manager of a 75 bed hospital in South Georgia, where her team was responsible for submitting and managing hospital claims for all payers including Medicare and Medicaid.
Terri has 14 years of experience in public accounting, supporting clients across a variety of industries with cash management, accounts receivable and payable, payroll, and financial statement preparation. She joined HCFP in 2022 as Controller, where she oversees financial operations and ensures the integrity of the accounting process for all markets.
She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and is a licensed CPA. Terri is also an active member of the Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
